At one thousand metres above sea level, in the municipality of Rubiana, Borgata Acquarossa is an ancient 19th-century rural settlement, born from the tradition of shepherding and later becoming a historic refuge for partisans during the Second World War.
Today, this small stone village is being brought back to life with respect and care, and its rustic homes are ready to welcome those seeking the tranquillity and authentic heritage of Val di Susa.
Here, you can experience the mountains in a simple and genuine way: exploring beech and chestnut woods, gathering mushrooms and wild herbs, or discovering small local dairies and traditional liqueurs, such as arquebuse.
